You cannot compare the 2 Wonka movies. They were both good but totally seperate movies. Gene Wilder rocked the first oen where Johnny Depp took on a whole darker look. It is kind of like comparing original Batman and the Dark Night series. I will definantly watch anything Burton makes.

Oh Ray, make no mistake, I think Tim Burton is incredibly talented, one of the great film auteurs of our time....it's just that I'm tired of his style because I've seen too much of it.

Kinda like how I acknowledge the greatness of Led Zeppelin, but I've heard all of it over and over for 25 years now and I just am tired of it. I don't need to hear any more of it ever again.

As for Johnny Depp, I love his work and think he's an incredible actor, but damn can't Tim Burton cast ANYONE ELSE in a lead role in his movies? LOL!!!
