For those of you that love these cigars as I do there is no need to worry. The new ones come with bands but they are in fact the same great tasting cigars. There was no reblending done that my tongue could detect. The band is kind of cool too, they are shipping now as my shop just got a new box Tuesday. Tis a shame though with the new tax because they're $8+ now instead of right near $7.

Is it that "re-designed" LFD band that they starting using about 6-9 months ago?

....that is by far one of the best damn cameroons on the market, I carried every size available when I was working at the local B&M.

It's slightly different than the blanket Black/Gold/Red "LFD" bands that are on the majority of the cigars now.

They are more of a Copper/Green/Brown sort of candy paint job band, with the LFD.

I like them unbanded because they didn't sell and when I saw them they would always be super old... I guess from a sales perspective, "yay," but from a rare find perspective, "poop!"

Yeah I'm bummed they banded them. I think I was the only one buying them and I work there haha. I just finished up the robusto box this week, and there is not much left of the long skinnier ones which I certainly love the most. I may have to buy up the rest of them this week.

What is the box code on the NO. 1s @ your shop?

I'll check today my cousin is coming to visit and I'm taking him over to the shop hopefully. I will certainly check. Are you thinking you want in? I'll split what's left if so. I'm not greedy.

I have no extra $$$ right now, but depending on the year... I may want to grab a few.

I've been wondering if the LFD cameroon was good or not. Now I know. That'll be my first purchase when I go down to Cigars International again.

I've only had one robusto, and was indeed an awesome cigar. So these come in a lancero or lonsdale or something too? That would be SO awesome!

Of course, no one anywhere near me carries these, and they are almost impossible to find online either. Maybe with this new release they will be more readily available.

That's the size I started with too, once the guys in the shop feel in love with them, I also started carrying the other two sizes.

I doubt they carry them. If they do the mo betta for you. LFD has made cameroon cigars before but these are a special cabinet release that WAS unbanded. I haven't been over to the super store in a long time but I don't recall seeing these.

Oooh they got a new size then. The new cabinet of banded ones we got is like a corona gorda of sorts. It's like 6 or so inches by 52 or 54 ring. It tasted good but I still like my Lonsdales.

I smoked one the other day, they are amazing!
A little sweeter with more nutty character than some of the other lines. However same great tasting rich spice by La Flor!
