CAO cigars...your thoughts?

Love the Brazilia. Tried the CAO Gold.... boring. Lots of smoke but not a lot of taste. I got a 4 for the Fourth sampler on the way. Everything I have read about the America has been good but ya dont know till ya know. Ya know?

In general I find CAO to be ok, the Gold line is pretty boring to me, I prefer full bodied smokes. I had an America on July 4th that started off rather boring, but finally amped it up a bit towards the end. I had an LX2 lancero, it was alright but Im not going to run out and get some more.

I think the best CAO's under $10 are the Brazilia, Black VR, and Lx2.

I never had a Cx2 though.

I would definately smoke the Vision Epiphany again, I believe it was a darn cigar cigar, but I will not pay the price they are asking for it.

I agree with Shake. The Brazilia is a damn fine smoke; as is the Lx2.

The Cx2 -- now exclusive to Famous -- was pretty good, too.

Let's not forget the CAO Gold, one of the best mild cigars on the market in my opinion.

Does that mean I won't be able to find one in a cigar shop? I've got maybe 5 or 6 local shops, and I've been thinking about trying to look for one of these cause I'm a big fan of the Anniversary Cameroon, and CX2 means Cameroon wrapper and binder (times two!) so more to love! Will I find it somewhere? Is it worth looking? Anybody like it, cause I see a lot of mentioning of it, but few opinions.

Chev, my local cigar shop still has some. Though, they charge way more than Famous does for the Cx2. If you try, you may find them at a local place near you; unfortunately they may charge a lot more than Famous as well.

CAO's line of cigars are, for the most part, pretty good. Here is my opinion on their lines:

America: Pretty good smoke, nice draw and flavor. Burns unevenly at times
LX2: CAO's answer to LFD, Joya, et al. Good flavor but it only has the one note, nothing outstanding
MX2: The best of the CAO lines... excellent flavors, burn and construction
Vision: To me, it was like a gold in a fancy box... crap
Brazilla: 2nd best line they have and a good everyday smoke
Italia: Good concept but a little light for me, still a fine smoke
Crillio: Many people who come into the shop loves these but I dont care for them
Gold: one word....crap

My fav is the Brazilia GOL this is a pretty good smoke bought a box in 07 I Like this size......great construction and burn.
