Smoked one last night and it just didn't do it for me. I liked the flavors of chocolate and espresso but it developed this funny taste about 1/3 of the way in that I didn't like. It was like a cross between wet grass and black licorice. Anyone else have a bad experience with these? I will try a couple of more samples before I write it off but I was disappointed since I like the regular line so much.

Back when they were originally released, I was given two to smoke and was very disappointed.

pfm721, I agree with your description as it relates to the "wet grass", I got plenty of that but no licorce for me. I have not gone back to them since than.

The Guapo is definately my favorite too!

Guapos 46 is one of the first cigars I had... those are awesome! I was wondering about the maduro... I'll have to head out to Lake Mary and pick one or two up.

I really like the Imperiale, just ordered some Corona Extras. Never tried the Maduro and frankly I've been avoiding all maduros recently. Not that I dislike them but not my immediate preference these days. Sorry to hear when any stick doesn't live up.

I bought 2 Cabaiguan Maduros having slightly lower expectations, compared to my love for the guapos. I loved them. Milder as expected, yet still carried the flavor I'd expect from the regular cabaiguans.

601 BP is on my top list as well.
