Is taking all my money! I never understood why people call it the devils site but I sure do get it now! I just cant resist it man! The deals are so good I cant stay away. If I keep up I'm going to have to get another humidor. Luckily my wife and I have our own spending accounts or I would be in trouble. We need to start a cigar bid support group. I'll be first. My name is Xavier and I am addicted to cigar bid....

Why? Whats wrong with C-Bid? Im new so please break it down.
Here's my take and my buying plan. It's a great resource if you can refrain from bidding just for the sake of bidding. Make sure you research any cigar deal, ignore the MSRP (it's artificially inflated) and try to bid only on HTF or super premiums that can save you at least 30% off of the lowest price you can buy them for online.

There is one exception, if you can score some of your regular smokes and save at least 25% then by all means go for it. I've been nabbing Cabaiguan Connies of different vitolas for about $4 a piece all week. The Corona extra is quickly becoming my favorite cigar.

Just my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

$4 is awesome! I scored some for $5/each earlier this year and I was very happy about that. But I'm going to try to show some restraint and wait until I've smoked these before I go get more, lol!

Hell yeah $5 is great. I actually had the high bid as much as $6 per cigar for five packs but I didn't get outbid in three auctions. Sometimes you get lucky. Weekends are a bitch though. I do really like these! Probably gonna pick up a maddie at the B&M and give it a try though I'm pretty particular about Maduros.

C-Bid is pretty cool... the first time I went on there I dropped $500 and my wife just about killed me. As for buying off of BOTL members, it seems that everything that involves trading and\or purchasing requires being a member for a certain amount of time, so until then, C-Bid it is!! Of course, it helps working in a brick & mortar, getting a 40% discount :)

Sure rub it in! If you're looking for trader points drop by the Newb sampler thread if you haven't already been.

Nothing's "wrong" with it per say, but it's highly addictive, and you can get much better deals from other brothers here!
Order disorder.... that's what they call it...I've gotten better deals here, but some great ones at cbid, too.

Hi, my name is The Skipper, and I'm a recovering cbid-a-holic...thanks to the BOTL.

CBid is addictive,,,,,my credit card will testify to this. Using the CHIMP system and knowing what the real price point is what one needs to do or you can end up paying more for your auctions than you need to. As has been said, research the cigars you want and how much they go for,,,use http://www.c-h-i-m-p.com/index.php and this will enable you to keep from paying more than sticker price.
