T110 and Iced tea

Quite possibly the worst pairing ever for me, it completely ruined any enjoyment of this cigar. From beginning to end all I could taste was an amplified tannic acid flavor that assaulted the back of my tongue. Imagine taking an aspirin and have it partially dissolve before swallowing it and that's all I got. At least I'm hoping it was the iced tea because I can't imagine a Tatuaje tasting that nasty.
I don't think I'll ever drink iced tea with a cigar again. I should have stuck to the XO Imperial! :barf:

No my second, I smoked the first with a glass of Glenlivet 12 and it was a nice smoke.

Yeah, the powdered mix kind. I'm pretty sure it was 4C.

I have found that for me, the less sweet the drink the better the cigar tastes.

Coffee and a dry red wine are my two favorites.

Bummer. Linda makes one of the best sweet teas on the planet, so as I saw the title to the thread, I got pretty excited.

I love sun tea. Gotta make another jar tomorrow, but keep it separate from the cigar hobby...

Yeah, I'm thinking it could have been the extra nic in the cigar kickin it up with the acids in the tea.

2 quarts water
4 tea bags
1 1/4 cups sugar

bring water to a simmer, remove from heat, add tea bags.

let cool to near room temp, add sugar and stir til dissolved.

Chill and drink

Powdered milk mix?
Powdered orange juice mix?
Powdered eggs mix?

Too lazy to mix up a new batch of sun tea. We've actually gotten some sun recently so there really was no excuse. Live and learn.

Best pairing with a Cigar is a large chilled glass of sparkling water. Cleanses the palate like no other beverage. Plus it does not overpower the cigar flavours. :ballbounc
