Not one response? So no one is attending? I was thinking of hosting something at the Vineyard for BOTL folks going. If you are attending let me know and I may put something together.

That definately looks nice to me, don't think it is that expensive....all things considered.

If I was on the Left Coast I would surely budget to attend, have a great time Cole.

If you add the drive down there, taking time off of work, hotel, etc. it can be very expensive. That is a loooooong drive.

Anyone going to this event? http://www.cigcon.com/ I plan on attending, just seeing who else I will meet there!
Hey bro, myself and 2 buddies plan on going. Only to the Saturday event. Driving in from about 2 hours away.

Never been to an organized conference so we are pretty excited. Seems like the guys on here bring home plenty of goodies from these.

I twittered one of the guys whom is organizing it and his advice/comments were:
"Be sure and go to at least 3 workshops. You'll get some freebies from that. Other than that, a lot of free cigars and wines.
Because it's a daylong event, you'll have plenty of time to kick back and smoke cigars and enjoy the live entertainment."

...Sounds great!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to hook the BOTL gents up with a little discount. If you are planning on coming, you should get your tickets soon and use the promo code BOTL20 on checkout and you will get 20% off any tickets ordered.

Hope to see you there!

The promo code is still good for any last-minute brothers who specialize in procrastination. We sold out on the VIP dinner, but the main event is still open, and for $60 (post-discount) you will more than get your money's worth. As I said in the other thread, you will be walking away with cigars from La Aurora, Camacho, Ted's and Garo Habano, plus all the wine you can "taste" (and shortly thereafter swallow!).

If you are from BOTL, be sure to hit me up at the registration booth and say hello!

I just wanted to thank all of the brothers who could make it out. It was nice to put a face to the forum handles, and you all are some very nice folks. Unfortunately as you probably noted, I was here, there and everywhere putting out fires and starting new ones. Unfortunately I never got around to actually relaxing and smoking on the day of the event... at a cigar conference of all places no less! Come to think of it, I didn't get to drink any of the wines either. Bummer!

I really hope everyone had a good time. It being our first, we have taken copious notes and will be having our first post-event meeting within the week to review the good, the bad and the ugly, and make preparations to address such issues next year. Not everything went off without a hitch... but I hope that in the end you all thought it was worth it to come on out to the coast to smoke and imbibe.

Ths was a great event, especially for a first year event. Well organized, lot's free sticks. I poured my wine at the event and smoked some great sticks. James David Cellars will be back for future events!
