go to wally world and get a $4 lock and lock knockoff.
buy 1 of my $2.99 foam cigar sheets (that i have to add to my site)
add a $2 humidipak.
for about $10 shipped, you have an awesome functioning 10 cigar humidor.

my foam travel humidor tray works perfectly for this size container.
one $2.99 sheet provides 2 cigar trays, plus scrap leftover to make a retainer bar for the lid. the retainer piece of foam keeps the cigars from rattling around. dont make it too big so you can see your cigars through the lid

I just sent a buddy of mine back to the Philippines with about 10 cigars... I used the exact container you have pictured.

I happened to have some spare beads laying around, so i punched several holes in an aluminum cigar tube with a tack, filled it up, and voila... humidification cared for. I had to use bubble wrap to take up the extra space though. Your cigar sheets look far more comfortable to lie on.

Great tutorial post Ron. Thanks!

bubble wrap is even cheaper, but your cigars deserve the luxury of my foam travel humidor trays

I agree 100% Ron.

I'll be ordering a few of the sheets very soon... I need to hit you up for a TSA lighter box anyways... Had my trusty Ronson Jetlite nabbed last weekend as a result of a random checked bag search. (at least I had enough brains to travel with the Ronson and nothing too costly)

Just read the "Zero" Post as well... those sheets are versatile!

Exactly what I have as well. I keep the small one for herfs and the bigger ones for over overflow and keep beads in them,,,rock steady at 65RH.

alright so i purchased 2 foam sheets. I read that i will only need one for the 10 count holder. I am thinking I will make a 5 count as well for my smaller trips. 2 foam sheets should be enough to cover both i hope.
