Hello everyone! My name is Charles, and I am a cigaraholic.
I started smoking cigars a few years back, and have since fallen in love with these delightful little sticks of sheer bliss. I started off smoking Punch Rare Corojo's, and have since expanded my tastes and likes into a large group of cigars. I was lucky that coming into this hobby and lifestyle, that I was raised by my father (who is Italian), to learn to enjoy the tastes and flavors of fine foods, wines, beers, ect. For us, foods and other of life's pleasures were to be enjoyed to the fullest, and so we would spend hours at times simply tasting new things and discussing them. This in turn helped me develop a decent palate, which while it did not immediately adjust to cigars, has quickly learned to appreciate the subtleties of these gems. I still have a lot to learn, and am well aware that I will always be learning something new about cigars every day.
I am a simple guy who has a job in law enforcement, and for me the best way to spend a free afternoon is spending time with my girlfriend of six plus years, my friends, going for a drive, or enjoying a good smoke. I love doing cigar reviews, going shopping for new cigars to try with my best friend and herfing buddy Shant, and sampling beers. I own a 2008 Shelby GT500, which is my pride and joy, which I absolutely love to detail and drive, it really does make me smile whenever I open that garage to go somewhere. I am a member over at CigarPass, which was my first home forum and has become a great place to me. I hope that I find myself welcome here as well, though I have a feeling I will as the majority of botl's are just that kind of people: welcoming.
My favorite cigars in no particular order are:
Tatuaje Havana VI
El Triunfador
CAO L'anniversaire Cameroon
Padron 1926 Anniversary series
Camacho Triple Maduro
CAO Mx2
Tatuaje Miami Especiales
Cabaiguan Guapos
(Hell, I just love anything from Pete!)
Por Larranaga Panatellas
Oliva Serie V Lanceros
San Cristobal's (NC, I have yet to try a CC version)
Padron X000's
Illusione's
The list is always growing!
So, to end that long winded intro, hello from sunny socal!
