These are the 2 RH bead products I am looking at getting:

The question I have is if I get the tube with beads can it just go right in my humidor mixed in with my cigars/ Are there holes in the tube or is it just a sealed tube of beads?

If it is then I will have to get the puck which costs more and will not sit in the humidor as well compared to the tube because of its shape. And I will have to stack cigars around the puck. Or should I buy a 16oz thing of beads and take like a small yogurt cup with a lid, punch holes, fill with beads, and stick it in my humidor.

Then this is all I need in my humidor along with a hygrometer. Correct?

the beads are great. i have 6lbs. in 4 humidors and have never had a problem.
i use the bags because of their versatility but i hear the tubes work just as well. you should invest in a digital hygrometer for better accuracy.

The tubes are not sealed, they are perforated. I am using a similar set up with the 65% tubes instead (most people will tell you to use 65) I don't let them touch the cigars although you probably can, I use cedar dividers to give them a little separation...

Humidity tubes take up less room IMO. Yes, the tubes have holes and yes you can put them in with your cigars. That is all you will need.

As for a hygro, as long as the beads are half clear and half white, for the most part the humidity will be right on, I had too many problems with differences in hygro readings to care about them too much anymore.

Don't forget to do the calcs to get the right amount needed, you are better off with more than enough as opposed to too little
My humidor is 2x7x11=154 cubic inches. So I think that all I need is about 1/4 of an ounce. I ordered one ounce of 70% so I should be good.

The puck is great if you have one of those round credos. You just take that out and replace it with the puck. If not go with the tube.
