Any thoughts on these? I know someone out there has smoked some of these... :)

I just ordered a box blindly (yep... buy now, ask questions later) and wanted some feedback.

Thanks guys...

Regios are more direct and focused. When they're on, they hit with a nice blast of flavor that is tempered at the edges with the smoothness of the Serie A, but the smaller stick gets up in your face.

Regios are medium strength with lots of flavor a great morning smoke for me. Compared to the Serie A they are a little stronger without the subtle complexity of the larger stick.
For the money a really decent cigar.

Serie A
Round and well balanced. Has a bewitching mix of animal and botanical fragrances - a summery musk - opening on full, progressive flavours. The evolution of aromas takes place within a woody spectrum, followed by a honeyed trace, before ending on a sustained note of warm exotic nuances. Undeniably seductive.

Regios
A superb robusto, with delicate chocolate and gingerbread fragrance. Long lasting, it very subtly imposes its sweet and balmy aromas on the palate. Its steady burning accentuates its plentitute, making it a pleasant cigar whether accompanying a meal or a nightcap.

- Gerard Pere et Fils

Hope that helps mate.. I have tried both and concur with his assessment wholeheartedly but wouldn't be able to express it as eloquently. The animal and musky part in the serie A is not present in the regios and to me signifies the biggest difference. The regios has the gingerbread aroma that a serie A doesn't have to the same degree (it is overpowered at larged by the musk. ).

I had my first Regios last night what a great cigar. Not overpowering it seemed just right, great flavors. I would have to say that you did well in oredering a box of these.

Excellent opinions here...
turned out to be a very good informative thread, even considering taste being highly subjective, this cigar sounds like a must-try. :)

I really like the Regios. Smoked a late 08 and it had a meduim doughy, gingerbread like flavor to it. While I enjoyed this cigar fairly young. I got a feeling they are going to be really good in a couple of years.

Great value robusto. As always better with some time in the humidor. Balanced flavor, and medium bodied, I think it's also the cheapest robusto out of Cuba. Can be one of my favs, depending on my erratic mood.
