I have heard that Italy is a difficult place to buy cigars. I will be in Rome in 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone knows where to buy cigars. I know it should be pretty easy to find Italian tobacco but I am hoping to pick up the Italian regional. If anyone has been recently and remembers anything please let me know. Everything I am finding is from 06 or older.

Thanks

Let me see what I can find first. I am really hoping to try and find the punch Diademas. I think those will be there still. I am going to Rome to make up for my couple of cigar vacations without my wife but she is very understanding to the fact that we will still end up hitting every decent cigar store in Rome.

All packed up ready to go. Went quite gentle on the smokes so that I wouldn't have to worry about bringing some of them back. We shall see if I brought enough But everyone of them is a winner. 10 smokes for 10 days

Oooh I forgot to say if you're into wine, check out the Trimani wine shop. It's by the Termini station. Best selection in all of rome but you may find other stuff that they don't have in other shops. However it's one of if not the the biggest/best.

I'd suggest picking up some Amarone while you're there. I was ignorant to that type of wine until after I left the country. Exportation makes it more $$ obviously. The bottle I had paired great with a PAM. The stuff is not cheap though my "cheap" bottle I had was $40 USD out of a US Military liquor store.
