Got Milk?

Just wanted to throw out the virtues of plain old milk, I perfer whole either straight or in a capachino.

Nothing cutts through what the cigar has built up in your mouth quite like it, to let you take a fresh perspective on what's going now with it. Learned years ago that people who do cigar tastings do it to clear the palate between sticks and picked up the habit. Try it, you may like what it does for you.

wow...I love milk and will often drink a glass right after a cigar if it was a bit too strong for me, but I've never thought to actually pair a cigar with milk. I'll try it, thanks!

Mitch, thanks for the tip on milk. I will also have to try it. I am going to the races in Atlanta this weekend and will have plenty of time to smoke more sticks than I usually can, so milk is on the menu.

Interesting, I have never heard of this before. I've just stuck with drinking either coffee, coke, or beer with mine. I always assumed that those drinks did affect my ability to taste the cigar itself, but wrote it off as, "That's just how it is." If you feel milk helps cleanse the palate even more effectively, and also is probably less apt to affect one's taste of the cigar as a result of the drinks aftertaste, I am game to give it a try. Not a big milk drinker at all, I hate the stuff actually, but I SHOULD drink it anyways, so this will give me an excuse. Thank you!
