Gale my good man, thanks so much for the hospitality! What a cool dude, great wife, beautiful bride and man, that guy can cook. He whipped up in minutes a nice spicy alfredo sauce with pan seared shrimp and sausage...damn good!

Had a great weekend in Maggie Valley NC, lots of rides, beer, shine, cigars and talkin trash. The ride home was awesome, 867 miles, 9 rainstorms in 15 1/5 hours and to top it off, Linda was opening the garage door when I pulled in the driveway. Nice to see her too! :eyebrow:

I've done the Dragon a LOT over the last five years, it's nice, fun, technical but WAY to busy. IMHO, HWY 215 & 276 going out of Waynesville and coming back into is a much better ride. Instead of only 11 miles, they're both maybe 40 miles, faster, and damn near desolate for traffic. We hit those roads hard, very hard, big sweeping curves, 60+ mph...it was fun. But yeah, we did the Dragon a few times too! I like HWY 28 going to the Dragon as well, and I40 out of Maggie Valley don't suck either!
