Hey guys, I just put up a blog post on a humidor jar . When I was a newbie, I used too use 1. Back in those days, I was using the green foam humidifier, and as we know, it overhumidified the humidor jar. Then Climmax beads got popular, but by that time, I was on too bigger desktops and cigar cabinet humidors. Now, with the Boveda and Humidipak, it is a pleasure to use a humidor jar. I have been using one for about 6 months with a Humidipak. The humidity is locked on 69%, and after 6 months, the Humidipak is like new. I figure I will get about a year out of a $2 humidipak. also, the cigars are smoking like a dream. sometimes simple is good. I see trouble that people have with cheap desktops. seasoning, inaccurate hygros, leaky tops. These humidor jars have none of these problems.

Please read my blog, and post a comment. http://www.cigargadget.com/humidor-jar/

You are a freaking genius Ron! I have one of the Pre Embargo office jars that I use a lot. It's got a really tight seal, but I don't want to keep too many cigars in it cause I use a small shot glass of beads in there.

Thanks for the tip!

we all know that beads will work too. Its just that I sell to a lot of newbies, and no matter what you tell them, they usually add to much water and screw things up. The Bovedas and Humidipaks are mindless.

Yes...i agree but the whole year long trial is absolutely golden.

I'll have to pop over to your site later and order one.
