Well I booked it!

We were on the fence about going on a trip. Today I said to my wife she needed to be rewarded for still working at a place (owner) that treats her like crap every day.(great $ though) So we looked around for the last few weeks but were not shure we wanted to spend the dinero. Well it didnt pay off because the Cabo trip we were looking at went up 1300.00 in 2 weeks. So we are going back to Riv Maya and staying here. It won 2009 on tripadvisor for best overall out of 100+ hotels. Needless to say it wasnt cheap. But in the end for what my wife puts up with on a daily basis she earned it.

You'll love the Iberostar. I have stayed at three resorts on the Riv. Maya, and the Iberostar resorts were the best of the three. Haven't stayed at the one you linked, but it looks even better than the Iberostar Maya Beach where I stayed previously. *thumbsup*

I stayed at the one you have pictured and a couple other Iberostars in the region. Great place, I really enjoyed it and I am sure the 2 of you will love it.

This one is adults only. There are 4 Iberostars next to each other in a complex here. Staying at this 1 allows you to do anything at the other 3 as far as meals or activities, but the other 3 hotels are not allowed to come over to this hotel. Thats what we liked about it. The reviews from the last few months state there only at 35-40% capacity so it should be nice and quite! Thanks for the nice comments guys!
