I'll give you a hint...15 nights on a boat plus a few more on land, flew out Thanksgiving Day (last year) and boated back!

I've been meaning to post these pics for awhile...finally got around to it...LOL!!

This is the first day (after we landed), it was a LONG day...it actually started the night before...overnight flight and all, and I NEVER sleep on a plane, just can't...except for little cat naps.

The following were taken by my wife with her camera, may be a few duplicates.

Another day (or two??) on the boat and then we ended up here...it's a very beautiful place, hard to get to...up until this trip I didn't know much about this place, but I had always heard about it, you don't meet that many people that have been there (until you go! LOL). Hint - we're REALLY near Africa...

Well, we're now off across the sea, we've got six days of nothing but ocean (or was it 5?? You tend to lose count when you are gone that long). You also make ALOT of friends...and do ALOT of partying, cigar smoking, chilling, etc...to say that I know that boat like the back of my hand would be the understatement of the year!! LOL

The boat has an AWESOME cigar lounge, the host, Uros, is an AWESOME guy. He's from Bosnia. Cigar smoking was only permitted in the lounge...which was OK by me. I picked up some goodies from a small island nation just south of Key West when I was in _________ (first port), so I was well-stocked...and I also bought some at the last island we were at...

The folks that I met in the lounge were very diverse (demographically, sexual orientation, politically, etc.). It started out a little rocky the first night, we were all introducing ourselves...when the German/Belgian guys found out that I was from Texas one of them said "Fuck Bush, USA, etc"...I replied with "You know, if you don't like him or the US, you don't have to get off the boat when we hit US soil, maybe you could get off earlier?"...to which the whole room applauded, he apologized and then we got on with cigar smoking. Even with all of our VERY different views we all became friends, I still keep in touch with a few of 'em.

Met some other GREAT folks on the trip as well, our table mates, folks we ran into around the ship, etc. The Swedish couple did a week tour of Texas after the trip, they stayed with us on the weekend and we showed them some Texas hospitality...then they got BACK on the ship for two more weeks of cruising!!

When I'm all done and I've seen all your responses/guesses, I'll post where all we went.

Would ya believe there's one more set of pics??? Well, another day, another port...I'm sure this is a REALLY easy one to guess...

Well, THAT'S IT FOLKS!! LOL

No more pics (well, I've got more on my computer, but that's all I care to share...LOL).

After this last place, we had another day (or two?) at sea and then it was our final port...Galveston, TX. I didn't take pics there, wasn't much to see, especially being that soon after the hurricane. We loaded up and headed home...TOTALLY worn out!! But it was literally THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!

And yes, there's more in the future!

Posting these pics brings back some GREAT memories!

Isn't it though!? Back when I asked about info on this trip on another site, one of George's buddies saw the post and asked him "hey, aren't you going a trip similar to that?"

And it was the SAME trip! It worked out well, they are awesome folks!

It's so crazy seeing pics of you guys with George and Bennye. Just trips me out.
