I used to be a huge fan of the DPG Blue band, then kinda got away from them for a while. Currently it's almost all I smoke, I love the Torps, man...nice smoke.

Speaking of...what happened to that thought ye had on an LFD, if I'm not mistaken, that tasted like an Opus?

You don't like the DPG Blue?
:stickbeat :shame:

In case it was a serious question: I do; I just meant it to be a joke on Greg: he likes the blues. If it isn't the cigar or the music...what else can ye think of? And remember there's the hinting smilie.

Dont think I have found any Pepin stick that I would toss. The man knows how to blend a cigar. Some of his house blends fall short but I have not found anything horrible yet. Smoking an Old Henry right now which I believe was blended by Pepin (correct me if I am wrong men).

Have not sampled his new My Father line but have heard good things and just ordered the 6 stick sampler.

Glad you love them, Wade, but the DPG Blue is one of the two Pepin sticks so far that just don't do much for me (the 5 Vegas Miami being the other). It has tons of flavor, great construction, etc. etc. But The flavor itself just doesn't wow me. I've only had the larger vitolas, and recently someone mentioned that the smaller rings are very different, so maybe I'll try a corona or lancero if I can find one.

But thus far, I'll take a Cuban Classic or Tat red over a blue any day.
