Welcome bro! As a new smoker my advice to you would be to smoke as many different cigars as you can, including cheap ones. The more you smoke and experience different wrappers, fillers, binder, marcas, and vitolas, the more easily you will be able to hone in on a favorite stick, your local B&M can be a big help with this, especially if you jot down a few notes about each stick, what you liked, what you didn't like, etc. Have fun bro.

Been pretty busy but I'm headed to the "Cig-Con West" this weekend in Paso Robles. I've never been to anything like this before. Any advice or tips out there from some of you who have been to something similar?
