Prior to becoming a tatuaje fan, I bought a box of torano 1916 torpedoes. I truly enjoyed that stick but like so many of us the Brown, red and black label tats, the dpg blues, et al took over my palate and like the noob that I am compared anyother stick to DPG or Mr. Johnsons blends. Well its been over 8 months since purchasing that box and looking into the humi last night I decided to break it open.
Great looking stick, smelled good. I lit the foot and was greeted by a creamy coffee like taste.(Taken back because I was waiting for the spice hit) The floral tones and complex mixture of flavors were great and consistent through the stick. I really enjoyed my old friend. I think I should give my palate a break this week then try and enjoy some of my old friends such as Fuente, Torano, CAO etc. I have also started attending Spice Anonymous. :applause:
Any thing like this ever happen to u?:dunno:

I just did the same thing. Ordered up a fiver of 1916's and hit the golf course. It is nice to go mild every once in a while.

That's where I'm at, too. These days, if it doesn't burn my nostrils a bit I'm totally uninterested. I plan on cutting back from 2-3 a day to 1 a day during the cold winter months and I expect I'll be more apt to enjoy lighter sticks when that happens.
