My first wedding anniversary is coming up on Monday the 28th and I have NO idea what to get my wife. The first anniversary gift should be paper. C'mon yall help me out with some ideas. We just bought a house a couple months ago so funds are a little tight. So, lets keep this budget oriented. Too bad she doesn't smoke cigars. That would be easy....

Paper, no idea..tickets to a show/play? How big is Lawrenceville?

Paper = money, tickets, paper flowers, invitation to dinner

If it is paper get her a gift card to the spa (so she can choose a manicure, pedicure, hair, or massage. or a few of those).

Good one!!!! She has a pretty good sense of humor so I may try that one as a gag gift.
Lawrenceville is a suburb of Atlanta. We are about 15-20 min for Atl. L'ville is not really big but we aint in the boonies! I was thinking of a clock but when I was kid I was told that giving a loved one a clock or watch was bad luck. :dunno:

Make her a personalized coupon booklet. Little coupons redeemable by you for things like a foot massage, cooking dinner something like that. Offer a coupon to do something that she normally does around the house. Make it fun or throw in something silly like paint her toenails. Be creative.

Oh by the way, you should put an expiration date on 'em. LOL A year is good. I found that out the hard way.
