So how do you plan on doing it?

Ok, so we are all fiending and waiting for the drac release. We all plan on buying a box. But how do you plan on doing that? With only 13 shops receiving the goods, it's going to be impossible for some of us to be anywhere close to one of the unlucky 13.

Me for one? Well, I've been told that my local shop will be receiving the drac. Now, of course this could just be talk, but I resepect these guys and trust them. If they tell me they are getting the drac, they are getting the drac. (BTW, apparently this 'lottery' isn't as random as you might think).
Right now, the owner of the shop hasn't decided how he's going to handle the sales (waiting list, first come, etc - I do know he won't take phone orders). Right now my plan is probably to camp out overnight. I WILL get a box!! LOL

So what do you guys have planned? Do you know of any shops in your area that claims to receive (don't disclose, because I am sure you are on a HushHush order just like me).

As soon as names are released - I will get on the phone & get someone to hold two boxes of 'dracs' & 1 bundle of 'boris' for me.

The 13 retailers will be posted on October 13, so nothing is final until then. I'm sure if Pete finds out someone is "leaking information" that retailer might not be included. But what do I know? The only thing I know is for sure is that those that had the "Frank" won't be one of the 13 this time.

Looking forward to these being released, as well as the Boris, the Red and Black Tubos too! hehe.

With almost double the amount of boxes as Franks last year I don't think it will be as hard.. I think Pete said every store will get at least 1 box

Bill: Looking fwd to the Boris too (and tubos)- I think those might be going to diff retailers than the Drac 13. Not sure how that works. Maybe someone else knows better than I.

I'm actually hoping that my closest local is NOT one of the 13. They already stated that they would not be selling by the box. Everybody will be limited to 2-4 cigars.

I am not sure how I am getting my box and bundle...but I am sure I will get one. I think those first 48 will be hectic...but we should all be able to get our share with the box allotment that Pete is offering this year!

I agree with Moro, Pete wants to get his sticks out there.. Not just leave them to 13 greedy guys who want to sell them as singles.... If a place has them and will only sell them to walk-ins, that is just wrong. I mean, put some aside for your regulars but not all of them! By the way, there is no way that your shop knows if they are getting the larger allotment or not... If they know I guarantee you they weren't supposed to say anything to anyone.. I get mad when people ruin my surprises, I think Pete would do the same./
