My wife and I are going to New Orleans for a late anniversary celebration in a couple weeks.

How are the cigars from the Cigar Factory? Worth buying?

Any other places I need to try to hit hit?

I'm trying to remember, but last time I was there, there was a nice place making their own sticks...and they were tasty...got a box for my friends dad.

I can tell you where to eat though. :smokingbo

if in the mood for a burger(the best I ever had)

take the trolley till it bends and go to the Camelia Grill. it's 626 South Carrollton

for a great meal, go to K paul's and ask to sit in the air conditioned courtyard.
and get a bread pudding for desert. you will thank me.

Commanders Palace.

One of the best meals of my entire life. And one of the most expensive. I go every time I can...

But, they have a smoking area for cigars... :)

Call in ahead for reservations, they fill up about a week out...

Stay away from Cigar factory.

Take a trip outside the quarter / tourist area, and head to Dos Jefes cigar bar. Tell the bartender to make you a sazarac!!

Trust me....

I like the Cigar Factory's Tres Hermanos line. They are full-bodied and have a nice oily mexican maduro wrapper. Lots of smoke and spice. My favorite is the Numero Uno - good smoke.

The other lines they have are too mild for me.

Just my 2 cents worth.

For years all I smoked was from the Cigar Factory, many boxes! Stop in and try a couple, they were allways good to me.

Tim brought a few of us back a CF Tres Hamanos from the show. I would recommend a box of bundle. (what ever they come in) From what I remember they weren't that expensive and it was quite tasty.
