Hey guys,

I am new to CC's and will be headed to Cabo in two weeks and would like to purchase some. Do you have any recommendations on where I should purchase? I have always wanted to try Monte Petite Edmundo's and Bolivar Royal Coronas. Any others I should get?

Thanks!

The two ye mention, Cohiba Robustos, Partagas Serie D No. 4, Romeo y Julieta Churchill, Ramon Allones Specially Selected, H. Upmann Magnum 46,...they are the traditionals for each brand in a way...of course, get what catches yer eye.

Take your wallet with you as they carry a price tag with them CC's. You could actually order some now and have them before you leave for Cabo and be $$$ ahead.

If anything like the La Casa del Habano here, it'll be between $200-$400 pesos each, depending on the stick on average.

What are the legalities of taking sticks with you when flying to Cabo? Will they be confiscated by the Mexican government/customs? Any thoughts? I don't want to spend 20-40 per stick when I have my own I can take!

Just don't let them see how many they are.

J&J Habanos has a sister store right around the corner. A great place to have an awesome mojito and your favorite CC. They also have a huge selection of tequilas for purchase. Great place to sit and relax that your wife will like too. Good luck.

J&J is pricey, but they are the only licensed LCDH in Cabo. They are also very friendly and helpful, not pushy at all. I was there in January. I wanted to go to Hemingway's too, but I was told they were closed for "fumigation."
