We had a new McD's built by our hose so we went tonight to see the new store.
My 5 year old got 2 hotwheels cars in his kids meal. He told us he needed to go back up and return the extra toy. The manager told him he can have it for being honest.

it made me tear up a bit.

I think the wife and I have done a pretty good job with him.

I thought you all would enjoy this.

Stephen.

That is very cool! Reminds me of my son playing soccer....he had been playing since age 3 and never scored a goal...at the beginning of the season at age 5 I told him I would take him to Toys R Us and buy him anything he wanted if he got a goal. He takes off as soon as the whistle blew and ran down the field and scored a goal! I am freakin out...didn't know he had it in him. So back to the line and again the coach blows the whistle and he scores! I told he gets 2 toys, anything he picks out is his....what does he do...he gets a small Thomas train for himself and a toy for his sister! very proud indeed!

Some very good parenting going on there. Least you dont take him to the bar and make him sit in the car like some other parents that are in the news right now!

You've got a nice kid and it sounds like you guys have kept him nice! I think you are born good and it's up to your teacher i.e. parents and such to keep you good!
