So I fired up my one and only Cain Habano this evening and I had something wierd happen. Half way through the stick the wrapper went pop literally like a spring and came totally unraveled. I have never had this happen before. I have had them come off partially (other sticks not Cain) but never all the way to the cap. The stick was damn good but kinda bummed I only got to smoke half of it. Anyone have this similar issue? I am gonna buy more b/c they are damn good.

a lot of times it can happen with a big temperature or humidity difference between where your cigar was stored and what it is outside. i usually let my cigar sit and "acclimate" to room temperature / RH before I smoke it. seems to have helped me with the issue you describe.

Well the thing is the cigar Gods are also Packer fans, your Bengals beat the Packers...so I called in a favor.

:headroll:

I think it is just the wanna-be cigar Gods that are Packer fans...easy to spot because they smoke Gurkhas! :devilhead

Beware of false prophets my friend...and come to the orange and black side for the truth!

Another thing that sucks about the weather change. All kinds of wierd shit happens to my cigars when I try to smoke and it's chilly out. I did find a bar that is 5 minutes from my house that ignores the smoking ban, but that only helps in the evenings...

A lot of times a little spit and a re-wrap will put a stick back together enough to finish.

I tried the spit trick which usually works for a partial unwrap but this was a full blown one....just never had that happen...I'm sure it's a fluke.
