OK so my thought of the day...how old is too old...to date? I am 25 years old and single and I was wondering how old do you think is too old of a guy for me to date without it looking weird? Please be honest....and please also keep in mind i look really young for my age!!!Thanks for all your comments in advance!!!

Well probably most of the guys that come in your lounge are too old hahaha. Cigar lounge visitors are all alike it seems. We got all old guys that might look like your father instead of your boyfriend.

However on a more serious note age is just a number. One of our regulars is 76 and looks younger than an other regular who is 62. Are you worried about "well Mom/Dad, Brother/Sister, he is - - old"? So I guess to respond to your thought if you look young enough to be his daughter it might be too old, unless he has money, and then he's what we call a "sugardaddy" :blushlove.

As a 26 year old guy with a 24 year old sister and hearing about her potentially dating a guy that's like 32 I start asking questions. Especially when he's been married twice already.

for me it depends on how old you are, and at what age the difference is. you can't make a blanket statement, 5 years or less. 5 years at 20 is a huge different between 5 years at 40.

i've never been one to appease other people, just do what you like. ok, bad choice of words, but you get the idea.

My wife's best friend is 26-27 engaged to a 50 yr old... At first it was weird, but they are actually a great match... (For real - do what makes you happy).

As far as 'looking weird': any older than 35/40, your gonna get some looks & comments...
(Like while out to eat "Oh is this your father/daughter?"...

when i was 45 i had a 24 year old gf. we had fun,got along great,and were happy. the problem was the entertainment...she liked to go to allnight rappin parties,i liked to stay home,get naked,oiled up and...

no such thing as too old. if you find some one who's company you enjoy what's wrong with spending time together, be he 25 or 45. if your comfortable with him that's all that matters.

so the guy i met is 40......but totally doesn't look it...probably looks 35...so thats not too bad right? my concerns are the whole going out thing like you said shuckins.....i like to go out and party and stay out late and i'm not sure he'll be down for the same! is anyone around that age that would attest to whether they could go out and hang out late on the weekend like at least once a weekend???

First of all, you seem to worried about the whole image of how it looks for you to be with an older guy, and that will never work out if you are overly concerned with that.

Let me answer your above question with another question: How many 40 year old dudes do you see out at the club late night??? If you like the guy then you may want to find out first what he is in to, if that doesn't work out then just move on. Your 25, you're supposed to be out clubbin' and having fun, and there are plenty of other dudes out there that would be in to the same thing as you.

Well going out depends on the guy and not the age I guess. I am 31 and I still stay out all night on the weekends. Especially when I visit my home away from home in New Orleans. I see myself doing that at 40 as well. Age doesnt have much to do with it imo.
