So Pissed at Ebay....

So I spend all last summer and the better part of this summer building a man cave deck...19ft wide x 23ft long with a peaked roof over head with a fan up top just so I could smoke in the shade...so I get this idea to hang an lcd TV outside...go to ebay and find a 26inch lcd Vizio...good reviews,,and I save a bunch of money. So I buy it and pay through playpal.....the stinkin vendor customer service is in India and they keep sending me this crap about me not paying and I send them all the docs, playpal reciept, and even the e=mail from their company thanking me for my payment...that was Sept 24...supposed to ship in 2 days...wanted it for the Bengals/Browns game this sunday...had to file a damn claim with playpal and they say they will respond by Oct 13th,,,afraid by the time I get my TV or money back that football season will be over,,,really sucks.

That sucks. One of the drawbacks of all the $$ you save on eBay is the random screwed up purchase. Always happens on stuff you REALLY want or need by a certain time, it seems. Been there, my friend.

Sorry to hear that. I learned the hard way not to order a tv through the mail. I ordered a 42 flat screen and they shipped it on flat on the screen so when i plugged it in the color on the screen was all jacked up. Hope the mail handler stores it upright when it does finally ship!

If you sent them all the supporting docs and proof ofpayment, why is there still a discrepancy?

I have been on there since 98 and have only been shafted once (bounced check for $65)...but never anything like this.....I bought my BMW off there no prob!

No Costco / Sam's Club in your area? They usually carry + sell the Visio brand pretty reasonably priced.

Sorry about the bad deal. Did you buy from a company in India? That would be a BIG red flag for me.
