Alright Brothers (and sisters), I literally just finished smoking the CAO Italia Caio, and absolutely LOVED it. This is my first review, but I hope this will be informational, and enjoyable.

What a beautiful day on the UAlbany Campus!! A perfect day for a smoke

Very fine looking stick, medium brown in color. Pre-light draw is medium to loose, and a nice rich tobacco taste. Smells superb as well. Firm to the touch, with very little give.

The Italia lit quite easily, and had a great draw. Right off the bat, it had a nice, smooth, mellow taste, with thick clouds of smoke. The first third was creamy, with a very faint spice through the nose.

The burn was a little uneven at this point, and began to canoe a bit. A few touch-ups took care of that issue, but the uneven burn persisted all the way up to the final third, where it finally balanced out.
Starting off the second third, the creaminess has subsided, and is taken over by an earthy, spicy taste. Taste is still quite pleasant, and the transition between the flavors was pretty immediate. Deeper into the second third, and the spice is really starting to come through, especially through the nose.

What a beautiful day...a bit buggy though! Anyone know what the hell this bug is?? (It crawled onto my shorts!!)

As the second third comes to a close, the creaminess and mellowed notes from the beginning are starting to return.
I know this ain't no nub...but whatever!

For the final stretch, once again the earthiness and spice that I experienced during the second third, and gives it a nice kick, and a very strong, tasty finish!!

And finally the CAO Italia is laid to rest...(it was getting WAY too hot to hold!)

This was, overall, a very very pleasant stick. The aroma that it lets off is very complex, and very appealing. It took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to smoke through this 6'', 54 ring gauge cigar. The ash was flaky, yet it held throughout the stick (if that even makes sense...)

I would rate this cigar a 90/100. it was extremely enjoyable, and I will absolutely have to pick another one up at some point or another.

Hope you enjoyed my first review!!

Sorry buddy but when you have bugs crawling out of your shorts you probably have crabs. Seriously though that was a great review.
HAHAHA thanks man. If I get enough thumbs up, I'll write one for every new stick I smoke. I thoroughly enjoy the process of the pictures, writing down everything, posting, and hearing responses to it! Thanks again!!

Great review! Very informative, and the pictures only added a positive aspect! For the bug issue, at least it did not crawl out of your stick! Glad you were able to enjoy a stick, on what looked like an amazing day.

Dave, you should do a review for every new stick you fire up. It will be interesting to see how your taste changes over the seasons and years.

Thank you Shuckins! I think the next review might be on that tat that you sent me in your bomb. Most here seem to be seasoned tat lovers (hehe) and I want to compare my pallet with others. Not sure when I'm going to have time, but I'll work on it!
