When I first started smoking cigars a few years back, I really enjoyed them. But since my then my taste has changed and its not my cup of tea anymore.
Same here, I use to love them but the last few that I've had I didn't enjoy them as much. Now I recently was "gifted" a Vegas 5 Limitada and I really enjoyed that smoke. Look forward to getting many more! That's the thing with cigars it's so subjective.

It's a fantastic cigar
It's an average cigar
It's a terrible cigar

All three of those statements are true, to someone. Point is, smoke what you like, who cares what anyone else thinks!

They were my go-to mild smoke once, though now I don't smoke them as often. I still like them, though, they are a flavorful stick for a mild cigar.

Same here. Started out smoking them but my taste changed. Now i don't really care for them...but I find that with alot of the milder cigars I used to like. You shoulg give the Maduro a try, it's better than the Conn wrap.

Explosve333,

First -- love the avatar. Great movie

Second -- if you enjoyed the 5 Vegas Gold, you'll likely enjoy an Ashton Classic, Rocky Patel American Market, Rocky Patel Connecticut, and Perdomo Habano Connecticut.

Myfav so far in theVeges 5 classic, the aftertaste is so smooth and creamy for a medium body cigar

I found it to be REALLY mild with ALOT of smoke, there was nothing offensive about it tastewise, other than it didn't seem to have much taste to me. I think it would be a good smoke for the very casual cigar smoker that wanted a mild cigar.

I'm finding the consistency of the 5 Vegas Gold Nuggets to be almost nonexistent. If I wasn't pulling them out of the same box, I'd swear that they were each a different cigar. I had one today that was peppery as hell all the way through, and the flavor actually had a bit of complexity. To be honest, I liked it a bit more than the average 5 Vegas Gold as it smoked more like a Perdomo Lot 23, but it was still very weird all the same. I swear that CI somehow pulled a fast one on me with this box. ;)
