Hey Jonah, can you still taste anything from those Short Stories or has the Tat spice ruined them for you?
I enjoy them from time to time. I've gotten so used to the pepin profile that it's weird to smoke a cigar with no bite to it, but when I don't have a lot of time or it's hot out, I don't mind the mellowness.

Not a Habano but I'm really enjoying a Cabiguan Maduro Robusto (Guapo?) right now. NOTHING crazy unique or overly special in boldness or strength but if there was ever a smoke that I thought I could burn every day, this might be it. What an enjoyable experience.
Guapo is correct Kurt, it is 5 5/8 by 54 ring guage, If I am not mistaken, but who the hell ever said I knew anything, lol! It's a good smoke, and even better to hear that you could smoke it every day. The cabaiguan line is excellent, but for me the best is the 46. A classic vitola at 5 5/8 by 46. If you have not had this one, give it a whirl and let me know why you think.

Watched thed MNF game at the lounge and smoked a 98 ERDM PC and a 07 Partaga 8-9-8 varnished. Washed them down with Navan.

RyJ Hermosa No. 2 EL from '04. Smooth taste, but rolled pretty tight, so not a lot of smoke.

Followed that with a very good Cabaiguan Maduro...it did pick up that dreaded metallic taste that sometimes plagues NCs, but not until it was almost to the band. Sat outside and enjoyed it while reading Jon Krakauer's "Where Men Win Glory", the sad story of Pat Tillman's death.
