So ... Do people on this board like ISOM cigars: check. Do people on this board like Pepin-made cigars: check.

Now, I've become a Pepin-ho since joining here as well, but I want to know what OTHER cigars you love. (For those who are not aware--not all cigars are made in cooba or made by Pepin, and there are actually some great cigars around that don't have a Flor d' Lis on the label!).

So other than your Tats, other Pepins, and ISOM sticks, what floats your boat?

To get us rolling, I'll mention one: the Perdomo ESV '91. The maduro version is one of my absolute favorite maddies. The Connecticut version is my most-smoked cigar--every time I smoke one I feel like quoting Ron Burgandy, "I friggin' love you!"

the usual suspects. . .padron, illusione, fuente/opus/don carlos. I've been hearing a lot of good things about padilla so I'll have to give them a try soon and maybe add them to the list too.

Padilla is one of the most under-rated brands I think. The Padilla 1932 is another of my most-smoked cigars--just an awesome stick, imvho. The current Miami is great, though I think it needs some age for the flavors to blend properly (haven't smoked an old Miami 8&11 yet). The first 1968 I had didn't do a lot for me, but I smoked another last week and really liked it (they're pretty cheap too). I've only had one 1948, but it was good also. All of these cigars have a TON of flavor, and quality is top-notch.

Oliva V is probably my favorite non-Pepin stick. I also love CAO LX2's and smaller Opus X. These days, if it isn't full-flavored I might as well not smoke it.

I think I mentioned this in another thread, but the Viaje Platino Lancero is an incredible smoke IMO. I have also tried a few other vitolas, but the lancero is my favorite.

I smoked a Viaje Oro, and while a great smoke, I prefer the Platino.

Also, Oliva cigars are always favorites of mine!

I've recently become a huge fan of the Ashton Aged Maduros. I've found the smaller sizes a little disappointing, but I love the larger gauges.
