i purchased one of the cao digital humidors and was having a problem with the readout reading incorrectly. when i emailed cao with this problem they emailed me back this (Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Vision SensiBox. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an encouraging answer. The manufacturer of the SensiBox misplaced the sensor in this production run; instead of re-making and giving us credit, the manufacturer only would provide a digital hygrometer to be placed inside the SensiBox. This will not correct the outside low reading; however, it will assure you of the inside humidity and allow you to replace the humidipak as needed with confidence.)is there anyway that i could move the sensors and which one would it be

The "humidor" you purchased is more of a gimmic than a real humidor. It was actually a box for CAO Vision cigars. If you already knew this, sorry that I can't help you/

ok, read about the humi, and just wanted to be sure before i give you your fix.

dont remove or screw with the built in hygrometer.

calibrate your spare hygro with a humidipak or boveda. 48 hour test in a small airtight container, or use the Humidipak calibration bag.

put the calibrated spare hygro in the humidor. let it sit for 48 hours. write down the reading of the external display. then open the lid, get the reading off the spare hygro that is in the humi. write it down, and compare that reading to the reading of the built in hygro. make note of the difference, and you are done.

the reading is off by 20 .the problem with this box is that there is a air space in the box that seperates with the pull out cedar? box,and in this space is were the unit for the sensor is located.and also the unit holds one boveda pak. i know this box is not a really good humidor but it would have been nice that it wasnt so far of in calibration.

That's a great gift set, the DVD is one of the best out there, as it relates to the cigar industry, in my opinion
