Wouldn't you like to know?
Correct, they're machine made...but admittedly, they're decent considering they're machine made. I'd certainly smoke one anytime, and they're quite cheap, but they're not a premium cigar (whatever that means).

Also...are you using an BANNER AD blocker in your web browser???
I think they used to machine bunched and hand finished. They for the last year or 2 have been entirely hand made. Biggest issue with them seems to be consistancy. Some are quite decent others not so good. Biggest differnce from premiums is the tobacco is from a different region. Now there are very few machine made cigars and no more hand finished

Just commenting that there are some banner ads at the top of the forum, that's all. Have you seen them? They link to places that sell all sorts of cigar stuff.

They are not hard to find, no.

They are Cuban, yes.

They are illegal for U.S. citizens to purchase though, as per our long standing Trade Embargo against Cuba.

So I broke out an ERDM that Shuckins bombed me with a couple weeks ago and it was super good. Up there with the best tasting CC's I've had. It was probably 5x50 or so. I need to smoke some more CC's! Still a Pepin whore, though...:nodlaugh:

For twice the "normal" cost...

Play it slow and smooth and you'll be pleasantly rewarded. Read and learn here and chime in with some reviews and such. Spend some time on the board and let everyone get to know you a bit. I know I wanted to smoke everything all at once too, but patience is rewarded!

The ERDM CS is a good stick, but they're on the mild side (flavor wise and strength wise) of CCs. I would never, ever, ever in a million years use it as a bar to judge CCs by.

As with nearly every Cuban cigar, consistency is the name of the game. It really doesn't exist; at least like it used to in their market, or it does now in N/C Super premiums.

I know of a box of 2007 CS that were the strongest cigars I smoked that year. Flavor-wise, they can be as full & rich as the deepest, savory-est Partagas or Bolivar. This being remarkable because they're overwhelmingly "soft" type of flavors; bread, herbal, floral, tea, honey, etc. Not flavors you would typically assume to be bold & in your face.

The point I'm making is NOT that Electric Sheep is wrong, rather it is that every CC is worth experiencing, and worth experiencing on more of a regular basis than just one or two cigars out of one or two boxes. Because of the nature of this product and where it comes from, sample sizes should be MUCH larger than otherwise.

which also tends to make them all the more exasperating. you get one that knocks your socks off and when you try to get a box of them, you find the ones you get are just mediocore.

Oh hay, I think I agree completely with your assessment. The ERDM has great flavor; perhaps I choose the wrong words when initially describing it. I would say that is it much more delicate as opposed to the boldness of a Party or Boli......and since we are sitting here comparing them to Tats and Pepins--which I find to be bold flavored cigars--I really wasn't considering that aspect of the ERDMS.

So you are right on the money!
