Alright guys and gals, I'm here again for another review! This morning I smoked the Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8, which is a solid 6.25'' and 47 ring gauge smoke. I picked up the one with the candela wrapper too, just to try out something different. I was told that it is a good morning smoke, so I just HAD to review it this morning after my first exam.

Another nice day at the University...Fall sure is blowing in fast!!

This shuckins tube really came in handy!! This Fuente had an appealing look to it. A nice, oily candela wrapper with only a couple prominent veins visible. It was quite firm to the touch in the beginning, but softened up a lot as it burned on.

It sparked up very quickly, and showed promising signs of an even burn.

The first flavors I picked up were very sweet. A touch (and I mean touch) of spice through the nose. I just couldn't place what the sweet smell was at first...but later realized it to be a bit of citrus.

The first third was pretty much consistent, and the actual burning stick smelled of a fresh grass stain...weird I know, but not unpleasant.

There was a slight (well actually it was major) defect in the wrapper that I noticed even before I stupidly took the band off. I made it a bit worse, but I wish I had inspected it a bit more in the shop before I bought it.

The second third brought on a bit of much-needed variation. It is still sweet at this point, but there is a bit of earthiness present. There is a light citrus aroma emerging a bit deeper than it was in the first third. There is still some spice through the nose, but none of that "true" spice you get with a more full bodied cigar.

Beautiful, breezy, nippy day

In the beginning of this stick, the draw was very tight, and there wasn't much smoke emanating from the draw. This changed as soon as I passed the second third and went into the final third. There were copious volumes of smoke, and the stick was VERY soft to hold.

Surprisingly, the cigar burn stayed quite even past the bad patch in the wrapper.

Getting closer...

I was curious to see how this would affect the burn...It did quite well in my opinion.

And due to it getting cold, and me almost being late for my Psyche class, I had to cut this one a bit shorter than I usually let them burn to.

All in all, this was an ok cigar. I wouldn't quite call it a one-dimensional cigar, but it was definitely close. Pretty boring compared to the other ones I have reviewed. For the price of about $7 a stick, I would absolutely not pick one up again. Though, would accept one if handed to me. It just seemed so BORING!!

I would give this cigar a 74/100 due to it's lack of complexity. I think all together I just enjoy more heavier smokes to be honest. This cigar was nice during the day, and left me a nice aftertaste for class!

I hope you guys enjoyed this review as much as the others!

Keep your eyes peeled for more!

Very cool! Great pics. I've never actually smoked a candella-wrapped cigar. Sounds like this might be a decent one!

I've had one of these before an absolutely loved it.... From what I remember mine changed very significantly throughout the whole cigar and was a great smoke. Of course though this was a while ago.

Have a couple in the humidor hopefully I like them as well.

Yeah haven't compared them to a tat, but that's the next stick i'm going to review. The defect didn't do much while smoking it, but it definitely was UGLY! I'll try the other shades in the line, maybe I'll like them more. Thanks for reading!

Great review, I was thinking about picking one up but I was hesitant, the last AF i smoked was lackluster as well. That defect was terrible too, dang

Nice review and pic's Dave!

A candela wrapped cigar is definately an aquired taste, not sure if they are still made but Nat Sherman used to make one that was pretty good in my opinion.

nice review. i would recommend a Camacho candela. Best candela out there. They used to be available only around St. Patty's day, but you can now get them year round. But not an everyday stick for sure.

Hey thanks for the comments guys!! I'll keep the reviews coming if you'd like. Also, any particular cigar you want me to review that's not over 15 dollars a stick, just pm me or post here to let me know, and I'll pick it up and do the whole shebang. Thanks again!

Wow! $7 no I definitely wouldn't buy more for that kinda scratch. That's a $4.50 cigar which in my opinion is a nice cigar with great construction and yes it light but has a pleasant flavor when in the mood. Great review and very nice pics!
