Today has just been an absolute mess. First, I get to school to find out that the power is out so all the classes are cancelled. Then while leaving i see trees laying on top of cars. Last, when im about to get on the free way a car spins out right in front of me and i get stuck right in the middle of this huge mass of water right off the exit... anyone else experiencing these things today?

My wife was released 90 min early from work today in Redwood City because much of the Stanford Clinic parking lot is under several inches of water ... and rising.

It's days like today (and possibly tomorrow) that I'm glad I'm unemployed ...

Thankfully i'm not the only one having problems in this storm. thought i was lucky that i didn't have to work, then i find the water is coming into my garage. i should of recorded myself trying to squeege the water out and lay a tarp in the crazy wind and rain. never fails first big winter storm hits and everthing goes topsy turvey. well stay dry everyone

Yesterday I got to work in 25 minutes because of Columbus Day. Today, and it had rained earlier but was not on my way in, it took an hour and 15 minutes. It bit!!:tongueout
