So I was on the way home from a thirteen hour day at work today & decided to check my bank balance on my cell. I almost threw up when the automated system said my account was extremely negative. I bugged out & called my girl friend at our house. I told her to check my bank account online. Sure enough some jerk was using my card all day while I was at work. I called my bank & was told until the fraudulent purchases post to my account I need to wait. Once they post I need to call & say I dispute the purchases & I'll be reimbursed for the cost & all the overdraft fees. I'll have to fill out a bunch of papers they will send me. I have never been this pissed off. I was busting my ass at work to pay my bill & have a better life for me & my other half & some ass is spending my hard earned money! I had the card shut down & a new one ordered. I saw they purchased pre-paid cellphone cards & maxed it out at Ralf Lauren. I called Ralf Lauren & left a message with their fraud department. I want to know where the purchases are going. If I find out that it's local I'm going to the police. Sorry guys but I need to rant a bit before I freak out. You hear about this happening, but when it happens to you it changes everything. I hate it that people can be this screwed up!

This stuff is happening to everyone these days.The smallest error on the part of a vendor or your end can leak your card numbers. I am sorry to hear about your loss, but at least you can recover some of your funds.

You guys need to check the Atms that you use as well. There a huge scam in NYc right now where the slip a machine over the reader and a cell phone with video camera over the key pad. Copy your strip with the machine record your pin #s w the camera and the time you did it to match up the card and bam all your bank info. It was in the popular mechanics this month or last month.

Hey there Joe... I've seen it. Same thing happened to my dad... won't forget how pissed he was, but hey, completely understandable.

that sucks big time. suprised your bank doesn't shut down the card when out of the ordinary transactions are made. one time on a road trip i filled up the three cars we were using with gas, then when we stop to get something to eat my card is declined i called them up and told be they froze the card cause of all the gas i had bought. Well at least you'll be getting your money back
