Ok I was grabbing a cigar today and realized how few manufacturer's cigars I smoke. I have lots of Niccaraguan cigars, (Padron, Pepin and Oliva) lots of Dominican (Fuente and Litto Gomez) and lots of Habanos. I don't have any cigars from Honduras that I will reach for other then to experiment. Not that I haven't had a Honduran cigar that I enjoyed just not enough to buy boxes of. So what I need is a great Honduran cigar. I will try any thing but am really looking for something that will compete with Opus, Pepin, LG. Price isn't nearlyass much of an issue as is wow factor of the cigar. What are your recomendations to try?

I've always liked RP 90 and 92s. Punch Rare Corojo, oh and Camachos

Edit: NVM just skimmed original post. Something to compete with Opus and pepin cant think of one off the top of my head =(

My advice is to buy more Nicaraguan, Dominican and Habanos. I don't personally think that you can beat the best offerings from those countries.

Honduran puros are becoming few and far between. Lots of cigars made in Honduras though and have some Honduran leaf in the filler or wrapper.

Camacho
Alec Bradley SCR (good Honduran wrapper) - try the Corona only
other ABs have Honduran tobacco
Rocky Patel Vintage 92 (or is it 90?)
Toranos
CAOs (Italia)
Illusiones are made in Honduras (all Nic tobacco)
Casa Fernandez
Puros Indios/Cuba Aliados/Reyes Family - mostly heavily hay and barnyard
some Gran Habanos and the G.A.R. line

The big boys (Altadis and General) make a lot of cigars in Honduras, just not a big fan of their products. This should give you some options to try!

I'll have to go with the Camacho Scorpion. That is the best Honduran I've had.
Congrats on #1000, bro.

Aaron, I've had a few Camachos, and they've been really nice smokes. I'm curious to try the triple maduro at some point as well, so if I happen to score some, I'll get you one for sure.

Hey what did you have in mind? I have been having issues getting things past the border. They have been opening most of my packages these days, held up my last watch in customs for 2 weeks. I think they took turns wearing my watch and smoking my cigars.
I have some Camacho 1962's I will send you to try, and I cand find a few othrers to try as well.

I am pretty well hooked up no need to digging to hard. How do you think I made the customs watch list. The Camacho's are pretty good, just not quite the epic smoke I am looking for. I have the travel pack they put out last year.
