However, and not to thread jack here, I have to post a picture of my last tailgating experience at Lambeau in 2005 to have a little good-natured fun with ya... Please don't take offense as I don't mean it to be, just having some fun with ya.
Since I am still a newbie here I haven't wanted to say anything to come off as a prick, but I can't help but to post my picture along with yours. I grew up in MN but haven't lived there since 1999 and I was fortunate enough to attend 2 games at Lambeau, both being Monday Night games. Of course you hate the Vikings and I hate the Packers, but I had an amazing time both times I visited Green Bay. I have a lot of respect for you Packer fans as everyone I met were very welcoming and are true football fans. Lambeau Field is one of the great traditions in all of sports and I was humbled seeing it for the first time. I didn't really want to wear my t-shirt in the open but ended up going for it and if I pissed off a few people, I would've put my jersey back over. But I wore it in good fun and joked it off with the Packer fans that gave me good-natured ribbing. I didn't want to disrespect your fans, so I give them props for knowing it was in good fun.
Anyway, the picture is of me and Hall of Famer, Purple People Eater Carl Eller tailgating before the game. I was really enjoying my stogie too! I also have a cool picture from 1998 with a Hall of Fame Packer fan who has a conversion van all decked out in Packer gear... even cheese rims! He's a big dude and wears a helmet with deer antlers sticking out... I'm sure you know of him. I would post that too but it is pre-digital cameras and I'm too lazy to scan it right now.
So isn't it weird for both of us to have Favre in purple?!? Sincere sorry to you that you have to go through it... I would be beside myself seeing the Vikes best all-time player playing for the Packers.
The division race is going to be a good and close one this year!
btw... I met Gilbert Brown when he was playing for the Vikings during training camp before the Vikes cut him. Nice guy for sure. All those years I was pissed knowing we should've had him!?!
