I buy from my B&M a lot. My patronage eventually lead to a part-time gig for me at the shops (owners operate two). Now I almost exclusively spend my money there because I get a little discount as well.

The smaller one which I'm going to work at tonight in Hershey has a lounge set up like its someone's living room. Very cozy and sort of dark. Has a false fireplace and a nice TV with a card table in the corner.

The big store, in Lemoyne, has a lot more chairs, two tvs, three computers, a card table, and a pool table. Not to mention WAY more cigars to choose from due to humidor size.

If any of you buttholes are ever in the Harrisburg Area, send me a PM we could meet up or I might even be scheduled to work already.

Almost entirely on-line for me. The local B&M's in the Denver area just don't do it for me in terms of atmosphere. Good selection locally but they absolutely cannot compete in prices when compared to the on-line sources. A couple of cases in point: My Father Cedros Deluxe Eminentes - locally $190, on-line $145 (with free shipping); Cruzado Marelas - locally $180, on-line $119 (also with free shipping). The savings are just too dramatic to ignore, so I'll go with on-line option every time.

Another reason (and it may not be one of the right ones) I buy on-line as opposed to going to the local B&M's is that I enjoy smoking at home where I can partake in as many adult beverages as I'd like and not have to worry about getting a DUI.

I am fortunate to live in a small city that has 5 B&Ms within 20 min. from me. One is in walking distance from home. I prefer to place orders online to get the deals. You cant beat the prices. THe B&M is fantastic for single sticks and events. This month we had CAO, Xikar, and Camacho events. The reps are great. The events often make buying a box at the B&M a better deal than online.

I have no smoke shop here. The closest is an hour drive. They have a pretty good selection, but the shop hours don't work with my schedule. I'd have about an hour of lounge time before close. I do travel a bit for work and look for shops when I'm on the road. Other than that, it's online sales for me.

I will purchase from both. I will absolutely support my B&M's that have lounges (Belicoso's and Burning Leaf), because I am going to use their facility to smoke, but I will also buy online for the deals. I have kids that need to eat.

I'm not sure how the B&M's stay in business in Canada. The prices are too high, $20 for a stick you could buy on-line in the States for $4 or $5. I'm not a heavy smoker. Most of my smokes are purchased on trips out of the country. Last time I went to the States I brought back cigars and I've had friends do the same for me. The last couple of times on-line since its convenient and less expensive. Anyway, it's awesome to arrive at your hotel and have a package of smokes waiting at the lobby for you.

There are very few decent B&M's left in Canada because of the taxes. Most of them are supported by the fact that they can sell Cuban cigars and in most cases the price difference isn't as bad. Normally prices will be 2 to 3 times the price in Cuba. The next and only real good advantage to getting to know your B&M is they tend to get more well aged cigars then most other countries. I have never been to a store any where else in the world that has had 10 year old Cohibas on the shelf. Now while I admit that it isn't great at our tax rates to buy smokes but you can find stuff that would only be otherwise be available. And to try smokes like that withoout having to buy a box.

We'll trade you cigars for prescription drugs.
