I can honestly say that myself, I would never sell a cigar that's rare for an over inflated price, nor would I buy one, but once somebody purchases goods isn't it their right to do with it what they will?

This made me chuckle, too funny! I would say that 98% of the world has not had this cigar, and people are already scamming! I truly hope that no one bites at this price! No disrespect to pete and his brand. This has gotten out of control, and obviously this "gentleman" is not a true brother of the leaf! I would not go as far as saying I am enraged, but angry that this has gotten to this point. I like to consider my self a true lover of the leaf and the brotherhood, and to see someone prey on our society like this drives me crazy! Pete, you did a wonderful job creating your baby, and I understand rare and ellusive cigars fetch a higher market price, however I am sure this is not what Pete intended when he created this cigar. As we all know that Pete is a true brother of the leaf, and does not want this for anyone or any brand to go through a price gouge like this. I feel that it hurts all of us! There is no way that people like this can be stopped from making a profit. I am just hoping that no one bites at his post! Sorry for the rant, I am just disgusted right now...

i partly agree. those dracs belong to that guy now. he has the right to do with them as he pleases. i'm sure the thought of re-selling some dracs has crossed a couple of your minds as it did mine. they're a limited run of a popular brand. what's not tempting about that?

i think that guy screwed up on the execution though. i'm sure people would've been way cooler with him if he auctioned them off or something. shoot, i saw a thread several days ago where a guy was auctioning off some east coasts and he made out clean. no one seemed to mind that he sold 'em for $14 a piece.

pete, don't trip dude. keep doing your thing. you're doing it right.

it's quite the feat being your brother's keeper. someone's always trying to make a buck. and someone's always willing to pay. it's called human nature!

Okay that's just dumb. I promise I will do my best to avoid this next year.
Nothing you can do about stuff like that, Pete. Don't worry about it too much. You've done an incredible job of promoting your brand from the grassroots level, and it's paying off with massive demand when you release an LE stick.

I just got a phone call and have a sampler coming from the one list that I was on. 4 dracs + 4 boris. Am I disappointed that I couldn't get a full box of one or the other? Yeah, a little. But, I am grateful that you created a brand that is THIS good.

I can get CCs all day long up here. Since joining here at BOTL, I've learned about Don Pepins, Tatuajes, and others, and have found out what a GREAT smoke they are. It's just a bitch getting them shipped up here from a store.

So, Pete, relax, enjoy the rest of the month, and smoke a few good ones brother. You've earned that at least.

I bought those and recognize that it was an overbid, but love those cigars. I don't mind helping a brother. If everyone felt this strongly about overpricing cigars, the mods should just put them up for trade or fixed price.

If both seller and buyer agree to terms, who does it really harm? It's called a free market society.
