Have I read somewhere that the cazadores hav changed wrappers? I pulled out a Cazadores that was really light in clor compared to the others I hav which are pretty dark. With that said, the Caz I smoked was awesome
I'm not sure as to the wrapper question, but I wholeheartedly agree with the bolded statement. These are incredible smokes.Have I read somewhere that the cazadores hav changed wrappers? Doubt it I do remember Pete posting here and saying that some manufacturers pass off lighter wrappers (eventhough the blend is the same) as a different vitola the only difference being the shade of wrapper which is natural and variable given that a colour difference can be seen from plant to plant etc.
Variance in the shade of wrappers is quite normal specially in CC's and understandable since the product is natural now if the industry dyed their wrappers then you would have nice even shades.
I'll be opening one of your boxes of Cazadores in a few minutes :thumbsup:I've opened boxes that vary in color quite a bit. The wrapper colors of the rolled sticks are sorted at the factory so a given box is all the same shade. The pic of the Hunter sampler on the store site was from the first box I ever opened and it was REALLY dark. You can see in that pic how the wrappers vary on the Brown labels, but they are usually somewhere in between the extremes.
