A local BOTL and customer of where the B&M where I work graciously took me shooting today.

I got to squeeze quite a few rounds through a full auto Uzi, a full auto Sten Mk3 (I think) with vented fore end, a HK Mk23 with a suppressor, and a Sig Mosquito with a suppressor. He had a Mac-10 with a suppressor but it was not properly working and would not shoot. All in all we went through a few hundred rounds of 9mm between the sub guns, and my B&T TP9. Which is quickly becoming a must keep gun for me. I can't wait to get a stock on it.

I burned what was left of a 250 remington value pack through my G23, and we also shot some out of a Kimber LAPD Swat.

It was an awesome day and I filled up my troegs growler on the way home.

Shooting soothes the soul.

Now that was the most important part of the day my brother!

Glad to hear you had a Great time Adam!

My thrill came several years ago when I got to shoot a full-auto Thompson Sub-machine gun!

Shooting does soothe the soul. When I am angry, I like to take my Ak-47 to the range and just unleash on some targets. Even though its semi-auto its still a blast.

Yesterday has me fired up about filling out my form 1 to turn my TP9 into an SBR. I'd like to get it filled out and dropped off at the Sheriff's office this week sometime. Then I can send it off to the ATF for a 2+ month wait for approval. After that my lower receiver will be shipped off to DSA for the "manufacture" of my SBR receiver. They'll need to engrave it and stuff.

I think of all the things I have fired, my favorite to take to the range is my SKS, one of my all time favorite guns, never had a chance to fire an AK, that would be a treat.

Dang that does sound like a fun day. Shooting all those different guns.

I went to the range yesterday and shot 100rds of .45acp through my Dan Wesson Pointman Major and my Colt Defender.

I shot a Chinese SKS once, the same day I got to shoot a Romanian AK. The SKS is a nice weapon. Good trigger pull, easy to fire and very accurate. I really liked that rifle.

The AK was like the uncouth, ill mannered cousin. It shoots fast and loud , the gun jumps all over the place and is not very accurate. The SKS was much nicer.
