Let me throw this out there....if a retailer is undecided about how to distribute his allocation so everyone is happy and he calls Pete to discuss it with him and Pete is agreeable with the way the retailer is going to sell them, does it make it alright?

Abe stated in his post...."Pete and I both spent 40 minutes on the phone last week discussing this."

I also know that at least one other retailer called Pete to explain how he was going to sell them and Pete was in agreement.

I'm not defending the retailers that jacked up the prices, just referring to the one's that wanted you to buy other product in addtion to the Drac's and/or Boris.

I'll cut them some slack as I do not know what the intentions were or are. Sorry for the negative energy, that is not what this place is about. Perhaps I was just getting sour grapes, I made plans to be off work so I could try to get a box of Boris and now realize I used my vacation for no advantage.

Well I hope nobody paid those prices. The auction site sent me an email that they would investigate the listing, but I doubt that it would have been fladded that quick.

Yep, the listings were both Buy it Now. I'm sure there are several people that would grab them at almost any price. Crazy.

Selling cigars on eBay has been going on for a long time. Selling hard to get items for a profit has also been happening for a long time. Reporting someone for being a capitalist and doing the same crap we all do (remember, using poopal for tobacco is against their policy) is wrong just b/c you don't like it, in my opinion.
