I have known of this forum for quite some time, but only checked it out a couple of time over the last few years. My primary cigar forum for a number of years has been CigarBid, but I am looking for another place where people treat each other with more respect, and where one can actually find a thread where the majority of posts add some value to the thread. That's not to say that I don't enjoy joking around and having fun- I do! I am just looking for less flaming, less name-calling and far less hostility. I hope to find that here to my liking!

Anyhow, my wife and I have two children in middle school. They all tolerate my cigar addiction/hobby fairly well- all things considered. I am a personal injury lawyer, but that's just what I do to make a living- NOT who I am.

My cigar collection has been whittled down very heavily over the last couple of years while I have been exploring and acquiring more Habanos. I still have tons of Tats and other Pete Johnson brands and a few other cigars made by Pepin. My go-to domestics are: Tat Victorias and Verocru, Cabaiguan, La Riqueza, Padilla 1932 and 1968, a Fuente Hemingway Maduro or Anejo here and there, and an occasional Padron '64. However, my interest in domestics has wained heavily over the last year or so. My go to Habanos are: Fonseca, RyJ, Partagas, HdM, Bolivar, SCDLH... My preferred sizes right now are corona, petit corona and the smaller ring gauges, but I still smoke my share of Torps, Robusto, Belicosos, Churchills and other sizes.

I really do not know what else to tell you all about myself. Hopefully, some of you who know me from other forums or in real life will give me some guidance here. If there is a thread for noobs to this forum like me, please direct me towards it. I have plenty to trade with and a good trading reputation that those who know me will vouch for... :skew:

People seem to like Boris more than Drac. Isn't Boris the same blend as Frank? I know many will consider this blasphemy, but I thought Frank needed much humi time when it was released. About 8 months later, I found it to be bland and tasteless...

The Boris is basically a totally different cigar ... different size, different wrapper, etc. It's awesome--medium bodied, starts off subtle like a Black (no characteristic spice or pepper blast) and slowly builds in flavor an spice until finally the last third is just amazing. Massive amounts of sweet spices like cinnamon and even nutmeg -- given the season, I couldn't help but think of pumpkin pie!

I've never smoked a Frank so I can't compare them, but I know I really liked this one even at this young age, so I'm sure after a rest it will be amazing.
