Hey guys,

I have an Edgestar 28-bottle wineador unit and was wondering if anyone has equipped their wineador's with a lock after they purchased them? I have a 1 yr old daughter and I know it's just a matter of time before she realizes it's a damn door that opens!?! :nono:

Any ideas?

I don't have to lock mine but what about a childproof cabinet latch that mounts on the inside?
That's a thought, I will look into that. I just don't want it opening at all though as I could see her opening it the slight amount those latches allow and having it not seal back up... that would suck for it to be open all day if I'm not around!

I have the same problem but mine is with a roomie good friend who likes a smoke every now and then. I ended up getting him a tupperdor, in your situation I don't think getting your daughter a tupperdor will remedy the situation. Have you thought about putting it in your bedroom or putting it on a higher location where she can't reach.

I think it's rude that you don't like to share your smokes. lol. There are some Kobalt tool boxes that have a keyless entry remote system that works just like a car keyless entry. If you could get one of those and adapt it you would have the coolest humi ever.
