Thank you to all who have served and are serving to protect us. Military, Police, Fire, Medical any one who helps to keep us safe and protect us. "Some gave all, and all gave some" :usaflag:

Just seems like a good time to post this. After what happened today and with Veterans Day coming up I wanted to say a big Thanks to everyone who wears and has worn a uniform to protect our freedoms. I did this a while back and my wife said I should post it so here it is.

To our Soldiers:
You don’t know who I am, but you put your lives on the line so I don’t have to,
You leave your family behind, so I don’t have to,
You fight for me and my family’s freedom, so I don’t have to,
You go into harm’s way, so I don’t have to,
You do without, so I don’t have to,
You stand up for people you have never met, and don’t even know,
You stand ready at a moment’s notice, not knowing where you may have to go,
Words can never thank you for what you do each day,
But words are what I have, and each night I pray,
That you return home to the loved ones left behind,
And that true peace you will someday find,
True Hero’s you will always be,
This is a heartfelt thank you from me.

We can never say thank you enough for the sacrifice our countrymen make for us. This includes my father WWII vet, nephews, ranger medic, army infantry (to be deployed in the coming months) and all the others - thank you and God Bless them -

Great words.

Great poem.

Some don't come back from the line. They and their families pay the ultimate price for our way of life.

Just the other day a fallen "Night Stalker" was brought back to his family at the airfield where I work. I've attached a great video link paying tribute to one of our finest! What a great reception! Texas Style!

Thanks to all active, guard, reserve, and retired military!

I most certainly agree that we cannot say thank you enough to our brave men and women who give so much to protect the rest of us. Thank you and God bless you and your families.

I had my skin in the game back in Panama and the firsts Gulf War, but cant say enough good things about the people I served with or the people who have taken the torch and run with it since.

Fair winds and following seas my friends.
