So I've smoked quite a few cigars now since having joined this forum. A few tats, 1 monte #3, some Don Pepins but I've never had an Opus X. Can anyone recommend a good one to try? I'm not familiar with Fuente at all. I've been reading about how people like them, but have no idea what to get.

I tend to like this series the most. Try the Short Story, Classic and Signature Series. For the most part, good sticks and consistent. Hope this helps.

ANY is my recomendation. Really it just comes down to the size cigar you like. Let me know what sizes you smoke I just might have what you're looking for.

The Hemingway line is great stuff.

If you can, get your hands on an Opus with a couple years on it. I haven't had a ton of them but in my limited experience these are loads better after a good rest. Seems people really like the petite lancero size if you are looking for help there. I'm sure a bunch of people will chime in about their favorite Opus!

My opinion would be these three lines from Fuente.
1. opus X
2. Don Carlos
3. Hemmingway

I am a huge cameroon fan so I love the Don Carlos line. Great solid toothy Cameroon.

I have never had an Opus X. I have had one in my humi for roughly the past 5 years. But it's actually just getting ready to go out in a trade. Guess you have to weigh what's most important!
