I'm sure many of you have tried this stick, but I had not heard of it.Found it at a b&m about 4 hrs away. I picked up several new sticks ( at least to me). I got the Brickhouse ( really like!) Liga t52 ( haven't tried yet) RP 1961(haven't tried yet), Cubao Maduro ( not tried yet) and one of the Xicar cigars(haven't tried yet). At any rate, this CM Oscuro is fantastic! IMHO. I didn't care all that much for the original Casa Magna, but I love this one! If you haven't had one, I believe it's worth a shot. Mostly silver label with some black and red highlights.

I'll have to give it a go. I saw them the other day but decided to go with some other stuff. The T52 and cubao maddy are a very nice smoke though. Let me know what you think about them.

Have you smoked an original Casa Magna?

Just curious how it compares!

I liked the original CM, but there was no way it was Cigar of the Year, at least IMO. I like dark wrappers, though, so I'll definitely give the Oscuro a shot when I can get my sticky little fingers on one.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this one as well. CA has a 2 page ad for Casa Magna in the Dec. issue, they look great. A couple more 2 page ads and the Oscuros can be cigar of year 2010!

I didnt think that the original CM was exceptional by any means. I tried a couple of the robustos and wasnt impressed. In fact I was disappointed after all the hype it received. As far as the oscuro...If its anything like the original, It will be mediocre in my book.

I thought the original was a good cigar. Not sure about cigar of the year. The oscuro is very nice.

The T52 is incredible. The Cubao maduro is very good as is the HC Colorado. I wasn't too impressed with the Brickhouse. I haven't tried the oscuro CM yet - they look good - I'll have to pick one up now...

AJ, totally agree with you about the T-52, surprised to hear your comments about the Brickhouse, I feel it is currently one of the "best bangs for the buck" cigars out there and I really like the flavor and taste of it.

But like we all say and agree...."Taste is Subjective!"

Have a great holiday my friend!
