Many times when I am running errands around town, or driving to school I really wish I could have a smoke, but taking along anything that I have in my stash would be foolish since I would not even get to smoke a quarter of it before I had to put it down. I have been looking for a GOOD cigarillo, however every one of them that I try leaves a bad taste in my mouth, literally. I have tried three different types of Gurkha cigarillos and they all have the same bitter, off putting taste. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good cigarillo?

I have tried without luck to find a good cigarillo. The cuchillos cubanos 32 is the best I have found, but still leaves a bad taste in your mouth quite often. I have some sitting for a while longer. They seemed wet when I got them, but I'm not expecting big changes after aging.

The other Cuchillos Cubanos vitolas are very good. Not as small or as cheap, however.

I doubt there is a cigarillo out there that the majority of us would call good. :(

It's not a cigarillo, but the Illusione 68 is a damn fine smoke coming in at ~$5/stick and smokes in ~45 mins.

Personally, I would go with that, but if you're looking for something a little bit quicker of a stick, maybe the Petit Tatuaje or Cuchillos Cubanos like PB said?

Fuente Cubanitos or Exquisitos are a pretty good 15 min smoke. Both are 4.25" x 32 and run $2 or less.

You might also consider a pipe. You can use small amounts for those quick trips. Pipe tobacco is very different from cigars though.

I have a friend at my shop that smokes those all the time, he just loves the hell out of those. Good little cigar.

A little bigger, Petit Tatuaje. I also used to enjoy Hoyo Petits from JR's

I'm with ctaylor on the CAO Gold ones, and Rocky Patel's in a tin. I really enjoyed both of those. Also, the A.Fuente's in a tin are nice, too! I haven't had any cigarillos in forever. I've always wanted to try the Padron coticos, but have never found them in a shop.

You just handin' some out, ctaylor???

Cohiba Pequenos are my go to small smoke. The Don Lino Habanitos aren't bad either. Along with a couple that have already been mentioned.

If you really need something as small as a cigarillo, here are my faves:

601 Red "rabbito" (tastes like a big cigar, no joke! They come in boxes of 100, though ... I'll be looking to split one this winter probably.)
CAO Brazillia (5-er tin)
CAO MX2 "Dagger" (5-er tin)
CAO Italia (5-er tin)
5 Vegas Shorty Torpedo

The petite Tatuaje and petite Cabaiguan are great, but expensive.

I didn't know the Illusione Cuchillos Cubanos came in a 32 ring, but you've GOT to get that one, those sticks rock! In fact, I'll be getting some myself!
